As per the most recent update from the dental governing bodies, public health of Ontario, we are now officially following the most recent update and CLOSING OUR OFFICE to protect our patients, neighbours, staff and their families. To our patients, neighbours, friends and their families: We have been closely monitoring the corona virus (COVID-19 ) situation as were sure many of you have. There's no need to panic or believe many incorrect social media shares. We continue to follow the protocols from the Ministry of Health, Public Health department and the regulatory dental and hygiene governing bodies. Current recommendations:... We screen We will call prior to your appointment and ask a series of screening questions to ensure you are safe to be seen in our office. If you are not safe, we will direct you to seek medical attention (see below) Self-screen If you answer positive to any of the screening questions --> CALL and rebook the appointment, DONT come in to our office. Seek medical attention (see below) Cleanliness We always follow top standards of cleanliness and sterilization of our entire office and instruments regardless and our team will continue to utilize personal protective equipment, such as masks, glasses and gloves, that we change between every patient and procedure. We also are wiping down all common surfaces like door knobs, counters, chairs, etc. Rescheduling If you at any time feel unwell or are in contact with someone who is a possible COVID-19 case, please reschedule your appointment, at no charge of course, and contact TELEHEALTH ONTARIO (1-866-797-0000) your family doctor ( Prince Edward Family Health Team ) or nearest hospital. Sharing We shouldn't even need to mention this but in times like these learn to share, don't go buying all the sanitizer and toilet paper and try to take advantage of those who need them by reselling or storing it all for yourself.
